What AI is (and what it is not)

AI tools like ChatGPT are not a replacement for prayer, for the Holy Spirit, or for your relationship with the people you serve. Think of AI as a tireless assistant. It drafts, organizes, summarizes and suggests. You decide, refine and lead.

Five places AI saves ministry leaders time this week

• Email and correspondence. Paste in your rough notes and ask for a warm, clear reply. Edit it in your own voice and send.
• Teaching outlines. Give AI your passage and your main point, and ask for an outline with illustrations and discussion questions. Then add your own insight and testimony.
• Newsletters and updates. Turn a list of bullet points into a readable update for partners and supporters in minutes.
• Planning. Ask AI to turn a big goal into a step-by-step plan with a timeline and a checklist.
• Meeting notes. Summarize long notes into decisions, action items and who is responsible.

A simple prompt to start with

"You are an experienced ministry assistant. Help me write a short, encouraging update to our partners about [topic]. Keep it under 200 words, warm and grateful in tone, and end with one clear way they can pray."
